Trying to stack images in second column of two-column Inner section

Using Inner section, have a (long) text block in the first column of the section. In the second column, want to place one image after another vertically (not in a carousel). Would also be an improvement to put spacers or dividers between the images.
Tried to use a gallery, but didn't seem to be the solution. (Then again, I'm not really experienced in the use of a gallery.)
