Sidebar won't show

I am using the Astra theme + elementor. However, when i select the WooCommerce to left sidebar it doesn't add it to the page. The page stays the exact same, i have created the widget and have dragged in the product filters but nothing adds to the page. Infact, If i choose left sidebar on any of the options in the list, the page still does not change.

I want to add a left sidebar so users can filter products.
