Question Fill table with external data

Hi, I need a table on the page , which will be filled with data from external URL.

My approach is to create a table within the WP table plugin, then post it with Elementor using a shortcode given to that table by the plugin.

I tried TablePress and other table plugin. The data on the server is in JSON format, however, in browser it reads as XML.
I was unable to find a plugin to read the data correctly from the provided URL either as JSON, or as an XML.

Any ideas? What other approach I can use?
