I had my website made by a designer who installed Elementor Pro.
I wanted to create myself a staging environment so I duplicated (using Duplicator) the entire website into a subfolder on the same domain, and a new DB of course.
I changed the 'siteurl' and 'home' in DB to reflect the new URL e.g 'mysite.com/subfolder'.
I can login to WP Dashboard no problem, but I get a License Mismatch from Elementor Pro.
If the duplicated website resides on the same domain, why do I get the mismatch?
What is the correct procedure to move the website to a staging environment?
I first tried to create the staging on my localhost with a virtual host (using xampp) to have the .local/.dev/.test domain but it didn't work either.
