Dropdown and mobile menu not working for visitors

I have a website built with Elementor Pro, but for some reason the menu has stopped behaving as expected. In the code inspector I can see that the menu is in the HTML, but on the screen the dropdown menus and chevrons (to indicate they are present) are not displayed.

On mobile, the hamburger menu shows up, but clicking on it does nothing.

logged_in_nav.png
< the navigation when logged in (displayed correctly)
logged_out_nav.png
< the navigation when logged out (what a user sees when they visit the site)

When logged in and I visit the site I see all the content as expected and everything works, but not when I am logged out.

I don't know if other people have experienced this, but perhaps someone could point me in the correct direction.

I am facing the same issue and I don´t know what to do. In mobiles the hamburguer icon shows correctly, but does not open the menu itens.

I submitted a ticket with elementor using their on site form, but noticed that I did not receive the usual response to tell me my ticket had been received and some one. would be in touch within 24 hours ...

I wonder if their ticketing system is broken?

I came across this in the docs for the latest Elementor (3.2.3) update (they have supposedly resolved this issue)

see - github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/14711

Apparently if you role elementor back to version 3.1.4 and elementor pro back to 3.2.1 it is supposed to resolve the issue ... I am going to do a back up and then test this out and see if it works ...

I just hope it doesn't break everything else for me .
..

UPDATE ... I was wrong this was how to duplicate an issue ... do not do what I suggested!

Let me know if you find a workaround or come up with a solution to this!

I realized that the issue occurs only with the Nav Menu Widget. In my header I have 3 sections. The first one has a logo linked to home page (working fine),the 2nd section I have social icons (working fine too) and in the 3d section I have the Nav Menu Widget witch hamburguer icon appears in mobiles but doesn´t open. So, for workaround, I replaced the Nav Menu Widget for an Icon Widget and linked it to a new page, where I included several buttons to represent the menu (I know, ugly workaround... but... I don´t know how to solve the issue.)

By any chance are you using Cloudways for you web hosting?

I found that the issue for me is the Breeze caching plugin ... ask them to roll it back to version 1.1.11 as the latest one 1.2.0 seems to have a conflict with elementor and elementor pro.

Bingo!! Thank you for your help. I talked to them and they are aware of the issue. So I am keeping the version 1.1.11 and now my site is working fine.

Yeah I spent some time detailing what the issue and solution was to their support staff earlier and highlighting my conclusions including providing detailed logs so that they could investigate further and inform their customers ... and hopefully come up with a fix in their next release, glad to know I was right though!
